Valve has released a new update introducing a complete crosshair system overhaul alongside various quality-of-life adjustments. Crosshair thickness and length are now defined directly in pixels rather than an arbitrary internal scale. The update also introduces automatic pixel rescaling whenever display resolution changes.

Players can now utilize new crosshair options such as a static square style and half-outlines displaying only top-left portions. Additionally, the minimum dynamic spread distance was reduced to 64 pixels to accurately reflect real weapon spread in matches.

Rush mode received significant timer adjustments, including doubling the maximum countdown-after-elimination time on end rooms and Convoy from 7 to 14 seconds. These countdowns no longer trigger if an entire team dies to suicides, team kills, or disconnects. Furthermore, warmup times after player connections, freeze times, and technical timeout durations were reduced.

Miscellaneous changes feature adjustments to left-handed viewmodels, third-person player models, and Dual Berettas animations during silent reloads.
