Poland has officially banned ‘trash streams’, with the law signed by the Polish president. The new regulation prohibits streaming criminal acts, violence, or humiliation. Consent from participants does not exempt the stream from the ban.

Organizers of such streams face up to 3 years in prison for violations. More severe crimes in streams can lead to up to 5 years in prison. The law aims to curb the spread of harmful content online.
