Ukraine failed to secure a spot in the Esports Nations Cup after a decisive loss to Poland in the qualifiers. The team struggled with limited preparation time and relied on tactical guidance from fnatic‘s coach. Individual skill played a crucial role in the matches, but it wasn’t enough to overcome their opponents.

Victor ‘sdy‘ Orudzhev, currently a free agent, shared his thoughts on the team’s performance. He revealed that he had received multiple offers before the major but turned down most of them, including one from a strong tier-2 team due to an incident. sdy is open to both international and Ukrainian teams but sees more opportunities internationally. He is also considering tier-3 teams depending on the project and idea.

Looking ahead, sdy plans to continue his career for about five more years before transitioning to coaching. He praised the professionalism of fnatic, stating that everyone on the team gave their all.

“At fnatic, everyone is a professional-from the players to the management. We did the maximum we could, and everyone gave 100%,” sdy said.

“Actually, no, but it’s worth noting that there are more opportunities for building a team on the international market,” sdy said.

“It all depends on the project and the idea. Maybe I would even build something from scratch,” sdy said.
