Monte is making a comeback to competitive with a revamped roster. The Ukrainian organization is bringing back former players sdy and br0, who previously secured victory at the ESL Challenger at DreamHack Winter 2023 under the Monte banner.

The new lineup will be led by South African specialist T.c, who has been appointed as the head coach. T.c previously worked with another Ukrainian organization, Passion UA. The potential new roster includes sdy, br0, Vladislav ‘St0m4k’ Likhoshva, Mateusz ‘mantuu’ Wilczewski, and Kai ‘CYPHER’ Watson.

Monte’s return to CS2 marks a significant development in the competitive scene, as the organization looks to rebuild its presence with a mix of familiar faces and new talent.
