Blizzard announced Diablo V during the BlizzCon opening ceremony, scheduling the release for spring 2029. The main antagonist, Diablo, will return in this new installment. The narrative unfolds approximately 100 years after the events of Diablo IV in a post-apocalyptic Sanctuary.
Alongside the sequel announcement, Blizzard confirmed ongoing support for Diablo IV. The developers plan to release an Amazon class in the first half of 2027. Additionally, the Hell’s Legacy season for Diablo IV begins on September 15.
The Diablo: Age of Hatred collection, featuring Diablo IV and both expansions, arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 on September 15.
