Electronic Arts revealed the Apex Legends Marked update, launching August 4. The new season introduces major changes to heroes, weapons, and the World’s Edge map.

Bloodhound received a complete overhaul with new tracking-focused abilities. The ultimate now includes a 12-second ally-masking device. Loba’s Black Market ability was improved for faster use, while her tactical ability became more mobile. Rampart gained movement speed boosts while using Sheila and stronger defensive walls.

The World’s Edge map received visual and gameplay updates with new points of interest. The update introduces ‘corrupted’ weapon modifiers with risky but potentially beneficial mechanics. Energy weapons were completely reworked, and the interface now clearly shows module impacts on weapon stats. The loot system was changed to reduce preparation time and make matches more dynamic.

An official gameplay trailer was released before the launch, showcasing the new features and changes.
