FACEIT Season 9 for CS2 officially kicked off on August 5, 2026. The new season introduces several changes, including a reset of Elo ratings. Players must now complete 10 calibration matches to restore their rankings.

The update also brings a new anti-cheat system to enhance fair play. Seasonal profiles with detailed statistics have been added, giving players more insights into their performance.

Vertigo has returned to the general map pool, and a shared voice chat between opponents during side changes has been reintroduced for testing. This feature will be active from August 5 to August 12, 2026.
