In 2022, r1nkle from G2 tested for Team Spirit as a potential AWPer. The Ukrainian player competed for the sniper position with w0nderful, another candidate for the role. After evaluating both players, Team Spirit decided to go with w0nderful, leaving r1nkle to continue with his team at the time, B8.

This decision marked a significant moment in the roster changes for Team Spirit, as they aimed to strengthen their lineup. The choice to select w0nderful over r1nkle highlighted the team’s strategy and vision for their future performances.
