r1nkle, the Ukrainian sniper for G2, shared his thoughts on his time with Ninjas in Pyjamas, his move to G2, and his mental state after returning to active play. Moroz admitted that his mindset wasn’t right during his tenure at NiP but believes that everything that happened has led to positive changes.

Moroz’s psychological resilience has improved significantly, and he has been working much harder. He was surprised by the offer from G2 and didn’t expect a top-tier team to approach him after being on the bench. He views the invitation to G2 as a result of his own hard work and decided not to rest on his achievements, continuing to work diligently.

G2 recently secured a spot in the quarterfinals of the Esports World Cup in CS2 by defeating Astralis 2-1. Moroz was the best player in the match with an individual rating of 1.31.

“I think my mindset was not right at NiP. I believe that everything that happened has led to positive changes. My psychological resilience has become much stronger, and I have started working significantly more,” r1nkle said.

“You can’t just expect such things to happen, for example, that a tier-1 team will approach you after you ended up on the bench,” r1nkle said.

“I just took it as: ‘If I got this opportunity, it means I deserved it.’ I worked a lot after I ended up on the bench, so I think everything is fine. You just need to continue working hard,” r1nkle said.
