Tournament operator PGL PGL #1 updated its official Counter-Strike 2 calendar for 2028. The company reduced the total number of planned tournaments from eight down to six.

Despite cutting the number of events, total investment in the 2028 circuit will reach $11 million. Specifically, events previously scheduled for August 16-28 and November 1-13 were removed entirely from the active schedule.

The updated circuit now features six distinct competitions spanning through the year. PGL #1 begins the year on January 14-24, followed by PGL #2 on February 9-21 and PGL #3 from March 23 to April 3. The remaining slots include Pgl #4 from April 19 to May 1, Pgl #5 on August 31-September 11, and Pgl #6 concluding the series on October 4-16.
