PGL Bucharest 2027 will serve as the opening event of the year for Natus Vincere and other tier-one rosters, running from January 17 to 24 at the PGL studio in Bucharest. The tournament features a $1 million prize pool alongside an additional $400,000 available in VRS bonuses.
The competition will include 14 invited squads determined by the October invitation ranking. The remaining two LAN slots will be decided through a closed qualifier featuring eight teams scheduled from October 16 to 20.
Several top-tier organizations favored PGL Bucharest over the concurrent BLAST Bounty tournament due to schedule overlaps and high-level competition. BLAST Bounty takes place in Malta from January 11 to 24, with its second week directly conflicting with the PGL event, following BLAST changes that drop online stages and reduce participants to 16 teams.
