Team Liquid claimed victory in the Race to World First for the fifth consecutive time in World of Warcraft. The champions defeated Venomous Abyss first, finishing 30 minutes ahead of their main rival Echo.

Echo held the lead for a large portion of the final day before Liquid closed the gap. Liquid secured the boss kill following a relentless three-hour push that began around 18:00 CET. Echo completed the encounter half an hour later, while Method rounded out the podium in third place.

Following the conclusion, Echo raid leader Scripe pointed out a bug that repeatedly hindered their guild’s progress. Co-owner Rogerbrown added that the team lost at least two potential kills due to the issue, noting that Liquid encountered the same situation without triggering the bug. Rogerbrown also dismissed accusations regarding a specific boss strategy, clarifying that both top guilds used the tactic prior to a hotfix and Blizzard confirmed it was not an exploit.
