tOfu of Team Liquid shared his thoughts on the team’s performance and preparation for the The International 2026 playoffs. The team secured their spot in the playoffs after a series of inconsistent results, including a loss to Falcons at 1win Essence II.

tOfu emphasized the importance of taking time and not rushing decisions during their break before the tournament. He highlighted the high level of competition at TI and the importance of not underestimating any opponent.

The support player also discussed the team’s dynamics and how they managed to bounce back after a tough period. With experienced players who have multiple TI appearances and victories, Team Liquid is ready to face the challenges ahead.

“I generally try to live in the present moment. The period was, to put it mildly, terrible, there’s no arguing with that,” tOfu said.

“At that moment, there was again a feeling that everything was falling apart. Everyone was upset, we sat down to discuss the game, and the next day we came out – and it was a completely different vibe, everyone was back in good spirits,” tOfu added.

“Don’t forget about the magic of TI. No matter what happens, everyone will squeeze out their absolute maximum, so you can’t underestimate anyone at all,” tOfu concluded.
