Team Liquid

Team Liquid is a Dutch esports organization founded in 2000 that fields teams across various disciplines, including Dota 2. The Dota 2 team has competed in high-profile tournaments such as the Esports World Cup 2026, BLAST SLAM VII, and DreamLeague Season 29. Throughout its history, Team Liquid's Dota 2 roster has undergone significant changes. Notable tournament highlights include RaidCall Dota 2 League Season 2, The Defense Season 5, EPICENTER 2016, StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 3, and StarLadder i-League Invitational Season 2. In recent years, the team has seen a revolving door of players. After parting ways with their previous roster in 2019, Team Liquid acquired the former Alliance squad. Subsequent roster changes included the departures of MATUMBAMAN and Taiga, as well as the additions of zai, Nisha, and miCKe assuming the captain role. Currently, the team is undergoing a transition. In late 2025, SaberLight joined Virtus.pro while Ace and tOfu joined Team Liquid with tOfu taking on the captaincy. Coach kpii departed the team in October 2025.
