Analyst and commentator Chad SPUNJ Burchill criticized the current form and performance of G2 Esports, questioning the overall quality of the roster.

SPUNJ stated that the team used to consist of players who could strengthen any top squad, but the situation has changed drastically.

“At one point, G2 were a team where, in my opinion, many players could strengthen other top rosters. Now there is only one player I would take from G2, and that is HeavyGod, but even he is currently playing far from his best CS,” SPUNJ said.

He named Nikita HeavyGod Martynenko as the only player from the current lineup he would consider signing for another top team, while noting he is not performing at his absolute peak right now.
