makazze and Natus Vincere spent over ten days practicing from home ahead of the ESL Pro League Season 24. Instead of overhauling their system, the squad focused on eliminating fundamental errors.
“We were making a lot of individual mistakes. We tried to fix them – unnecessary peeks and things like that – and we managed to do it,” makazze said.
The tournament runs from October 3 to 11 in Katowice, Poland, featuring a $1 million prize pool. NAVI face G2 in their opening match. While the organization holds a proud legacy of never missing a Major, the team avoids dwelling on the pressure.
“If we play our best CS, we will make the major,” makazze stated.
Following a rough patch where results dipped, makazze took time off to reset mentally. He feels confident about his current level heading into the matches.
“Right now, I would definitely say I am in better form than at the last tournaments,” he added.
