Kvem revealed a major financial dispute with his former club, Passion UA, alleging that he never received a significant portion of his earnings. The player claims he missed out on approximately $60,000 to $70,000 in sticker revenue tied to his time on the roster.
The organization was founded and owned by football star Oleksandr Zinchenko and Artemijs Rjabovs. According to the player, the missing funds may have been redirected toward other projects.
“I did not receive somewhere between sixty and seventy thousand dollars,” Kvem said. “It is very strange how the bootcamp turned out, which he built. Most likely, this bootcamp, which he gave to his friend, was built with money from stickers. In short, I think everything was planned there. This is my theory.”
The situation has caused friction among the roster. The affected players discussed hiring legal representation to investigate the circumstances surrounding the missing funds and clarify where the revenues went.
