B8 entered the new season in a strong Valve Regional Standing position following a top-16 finish at the Cologne Major. A subsequent dip in results and skipped tournaments negatively impacted their ranking, pushing the team to re-evaluate their tournament calendar.

Coach maddened revealed that the squad skipped two available events to focus instead on Stake Ranked Episode 4 and the RLG Tesla Cup. The team ultimately failed to foresee how these accumulated scheduling choices would affect their overall standing and competitive momentum.

“Looking back, we can say this decision could have negatively affected us or worked to our advantage. Right now it is easy to call it a mistake, but back then it was impossible to predict everything,” maddened said.

Maddened admitted that while the outcome turned out poorly, evaluating such choices in the moment remains a complex challenge with unpredictable consequences for any roster.
