A user on X named Sagka recently criticized several esports organizations for roster decisions that put players at risk of missing out on major stickers. The user pointed out that Team Vitality jeopardized apEX by playing with jL, while FUT and Astralis made similar moves affecting SunPayus. Sagka argued that clubs employ paid staff who should fully understand tournament rulebooks.

apEX addressed the controversy directly on X to clarify why the team did not prioritize securing his specific sticker. The French in-game leader explained that both he and mezii missed two tournaments each, creating a difficult situation for the squad.

“We knew the rules, but since both mezii and I missed two tournaments, it was not easy for the team to handle the situation,” apEX stated.

The apEX added that he refused to ask the organization to play with yet another stand-in solely to guarantee his personal sticker eligibility.
