G2 Ares

G2 Ares is a German esports organization competing in Counter-Strike 2 (CS2). Founded in 2024 by G2 Esports, the team serves as their academy squad. The roster has undergone significant changes since its inception. Initially composed of xezr, d0jca, fNk, tAk, and hitori with LETN1 as coach, the team saw several departures and acquisitions. Notably, ketsuo replaced xezr in November 2024, followed by kl1m joining the active roster in September 2024 after d0jca was benched. Nidoria joined from Caldya Esport in April 2025, replacing ketsuo who left the team. Later that year, G2 Ares acquired Junyme and yksjupe while loaning kl1m to MIBR. In early 2026, LETN1 was replaced by innersh1ne as coach and SHiNE joined as IGL. Currently, G2 Ares fields a roster consisting of SHiNE (IGL), fNk, Junyme, Nidoria, kl1m (returned from loan) and yksjupe. The team is led by coach innersh1ne.
