STATE Esport delivered an upset at the Hotspawn 10k Showdown, sweeping G2 Ares 2:0 in their CS2 clash on 25 October 2026. By our ranking, STATE entered as the lower-ranked side, which makes this clean victory a genuine shock in the C-Tier event. The 2:0 scoreline means STATE took the series without dropping a map, closing it out in straight games. G2 Ares couldn't find an answer across the two maps, and the result will be one of the bigger talking points of the tournament. We have no individual standout to highlight from this match, but the team result speaks loudly on its own.
