Rockstar Games unveiled a 27-minute gameplay trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI on August 28, 2026. The trailer showcased the game’s expansive open world, intense gunfights, high-speed chases, environmental interactions, and key story scenes.

The main characters, Jason Duval and Lucia Camino, are a pair of criminals forced to work together after a failed robbery. Their complex relationship and criminal activities drive the game’s narrative, set in Vice City and other parts of the fictional state of Leonida. The plot escalates into a large-scale criminal story affecting the entire region.

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC version has not been officially announced by Rockstar.
