GameSquare Holdings, the parent company of esports organization FaZe Clan, is currently at risk of being delisted from the Nasdaq stock exchange. The company’s stock, trading under the ticker GAME, has consistently fallen below the $1 minimum price requirement set by Nasdaq.
The exchange mandates that companies maintain a stock price of at least $1. GameSquare received its initial warning on September 10, 2025, and was granted an extension until September 7, 2026, to correct the issue. Failure to meet this deadline could lead to delisting.
To address the situation, GameSquare plans to implement a reverse stock split, a move that consolidates existing shares to artificially inflate the price per share without altering the total investment value. Shareholders are set to vote on this proposal on August 13, 2026. GameSquare also owns analytics service Stream Hatchet and agency Code Red Esports.
