EA Sports detailed the format and prize pool for the FC Pro 27 season, which kicks off on September 21, 2026. The fourth season of the competitive series will feature a total prize pool exceeding $2.5 million across multiple stages.
The highlight of the competitive year is the FC Pro World Championship, boasting a $1 million prize pool. The main event will feature 36 players, beginning with a league stage before moving into a 24-player single-elimination playoffs bracket.
EA expanded the Middle East region by adding Bahrain, Jordan, Libya, and Oman to the participant list. Meanwhile, the FC Pro Draft system will remain a core part of offline tournaments, requiring players to build squads under specific rating limits.
The path to the world championship includes an in-game open ladder, regional qualifiers, a LAN qualifier in London, the FC Pro Open Live Event, open cups, and play-ins. The prize pool distribution allocates $152,000 for global qualifiers, $533,000 for the Live Event, $315,000 for Open Cups, $248,000 for LCQ, $252,000 for Play-Ins, and $1 million for the World Championship.
