Setsu spent the entirety of 2025 inactive from professional play. Prior to this break, he featured for prominent Chinese organizations such as Royal Never Give Up, LGD Gaming, and CDEC Gaming. Earlier in 2026, he attempted to secure a spot at The International 2026 alongside Yakult Brothers, ultimately finishing in third place during the qualifiers.

BLAST Slam 8 features a $750,000 prize pool and runs from September 29 to October 11. The group stage will take place online, while the decisive playoff matches will be held offline in Malta.
