PlayTime has responded to their disqualification from the Esports World Cup 2026 with a statement denying any involvement in match-fixing. The organization emphasized its commitment to fair play and zero tolerance for such activities.

PlayTime’s management stated they were unaware of any match-fixing activities and are cooperating with tournament organizers. The club has suspended the individuals involved pending the outcome of an internal investigation. Their scheduled match did not take place due to the disqualification.

PlayTime expressed regret to organizers, opponents, and fans affected by the situation. The club is prepared to take strict disciplinary action, including contract termination, if violations are confirmed. They will not comment further until the official investigation is complete.

“PlayTime Sports adheres to a strict zero-tolerance policy for any actions that threaten the integrity of competition,” the statement read.

“We fully respect the measures taken by EWC representatives and have already launched a thorough internal review, suspending the relevant individuals until its completion,” PlayTime added.

“If the investigation proves any involvement of our members in illegal activities, we will immediately apply disciplinary measures, including contract termination,” the organization concluded.
