Malaysian police raided the training base of Xipto Esports during a practice session. Officers confiscated passports and phones, and shut down the internet and computers. Players 23savage, Fbz, and Oli were handcuffed and interrogated for two hours. Detectives questioned the players about their work and doubted they were professional gamers.

The situation shifted after an officer recognized Dota 2 and Fnatic, and 23savage showed his Instagram profile. Police removed the handcuffs and challenged 23savage to prove his skills in Dota 2. He played a match as Kez and secured 32 kills, after which police allowed him to continue playing. According to 23savage, the officers also ate two jars of his Nutella during the raid. Despite the unusual incident, 23savage described it as an interesting experience.
