Emo has left GLYPH after the team failed to qualify for both Esports World Cup 2026 and The International 2026. The Chinese mid-laner joined GLYPH on April 1, 2026, but their best result was a 12th-place finish at Blast Slam 7. Emo, who previously played for Invictus Gaming, LGD Gaming, and Yakutou Brothers, achieved 4th place at The International 10 and holds 7 gold, 9 silver, and 13 bronze medals from various tournaments. He also reached 13,000 MMR in 2024, becoming the first Chinese player to do so.

GLYPH announced Emo’s departure with a heartfelt message, acknowledging his decision to pursue other opportunities. Emo is now looking to join another team he considers more promising, though no information is available yet on his new team or his replacement in GLYPH.

“This really hurts, but if you love someone – let them go. We thank Emo for his time in GLYPH, as he has decided to pursue other opportunities at this point in the season. We will miss our little evil genius,” GLYPH said.
