Dawn Bulls faced a major setback when tournament organizers denied their participation in the open qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 30. The team features a mixed lineup with two players from Western Europe, two from Southeast Asia, and one from Eastern Europe, Shad.

Because of this specific player distribution, the squad fails to meet the residency requirements for any single competitive region. Open qualifiers for the event run from October 9 to 12, 2026, while the main tournament takes place from December 2 to 13 with 24 teams competing for a $750,000 prize pool.

“So they aren’t letting us play in dreamleague qualifiers because we don’t have 3 players from one region. I understand the rule enforcement because it’s been bad in the past, but we’re not allowed to compete in any region, this seems unfair,” Shad stated.

This exclusion contrasts with their recent success in qualifying for BLAST Slam IX through both open and closed stages.
