Aui_2000 has announced his retirement from professional Team Falcons after the team’s elimination from The International 2026. The veteran player cited the demands of constant travel and the esports lifestyle as too exhausting.

Aui_2000 is the first person in history to win The International three times in two different roles. He secured the title once as a player with Evil Geniuses in 2015 and twice as a coach-with Tundra Esports in 2022 and Team Falcons in 2025. Despite considering retirement earlier, he was persuaded to continue after Team Falcons’ victory at The International 2025. This year, the team finished in 7-8th place.

Reflecting on his career, Aui_2000 expressed gratitude to his supporters and mentioned he will write a blog post once he has processed his emotions further.

“I never could have imagined living this life. I don’t know how to put my emotions into words right now. Thank you to all of you for making it possible to go on this journey. I’ll write a blog at some point when I’ve processed more. Love you all,” Aui_2000 said.
