Astini left PlayTime just 11 days after joining the DreamLeague Season 30 qualifier roster as head coach. Management decided to dismiss him after the team finished third in the South American qualifiers, failing to reach the main event.

According to the coach, club management made the choice independently without consulting the lineup.

“The players did not even know, nobody asked them. This is the decision of the organization itself. I did not even receive a contract,” Astini stated.

The organization expected immediate success, while Astini believed building a young squad required six to nine months of consistent work.

“The club had a different vision and I respect it: they needed faster results. I was removed because the performance did not match the expectations of the organization,” Astini added.

Astini currently has no offers from other rosters, but aims to continue working within the competitive ecosystem of DreamLeague Season 30.
