woxic has opened up about the team’s transition to English communication after switching from Turkish. The player, who had been communicating in Turkish for five or six years, shared the challenges faced during the adaptation process.
The initial switch was not easy for woxic, who admitted to struggling with switching from Turkish to English during matches. However, after nearly two months of adaptation, the team has successfully transitioned to English communication. All Turkish players on the team have also adapted to English, and woxic believes the team has overcome the language barrier and understands each other well.
There are no longer communication issues during games or training, according to woxic. The player highlighted the progress made, stating that the team has fully adapted to English communication.
“After five or six years of communicating in my native language, when switching back to English, sometimes my brain wants to give information in Turkish for a certain position, and I just tell myself: ‘No, that’s wrong. I need to say it in English,'” woxic said.
“In the first days it was a bit tough, but now, after about a month and a half, or almost two, I think we just got used to speaking English,” woxic added.
