Esports analyst Thorin recently drew a comparison between the Major championship runs of ZywOo, s1mple, and donk. The discussion centers around the level of experience possessed by their supporting casts during these tournament victories.

When ZywOo secured his first Major title at the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 with Team Vitality, he played alongside seasoned champions like dupreeh, Magisk, and apEX. This trend continued into 2025, as Team Vitality claimed victories at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 and StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 with apEX and ropz, who previously won PGL Major Antwerp 2022 with FaZe Clan.

“s1mple won his Major playing with four teammates who had never won a Major before. The same applies to donk. In contrast, ZywOo won all his Majors playing with at least two teammates who were already Major champions before playing with him,” Thorin said.

This statistical distinction sets ZywOo apart from peers like s1mple and donk, both of whom reached the pinnacle of Counter-Strike alongside first-time Major winners.
