The Polish esports organization Phantom has officially secured a new primary AWPer by signing Danish player Nico “nicoodoz” Tamjidi. The 25-year-old, who had been sidelined following benchings at ECSTATIC, steps into the role previously held by Łukasz “mwlky” Pachucki. After a brief four-month stint, mwlky has been moved to the bench. In an official statement on X, Phantom expressed gratitude to mwlky for his positive attitude and teamwork, while clarifying that the roster change was driven strictly by competitive motives and their ambition to pursue top-tier achievements.

This signing marks another connection between the two clubs, as nicoodoz follows Thomas “TMB” Bundsbæk, who made the same switch from ECSTATIC to Phantom back in May. These adjustments are part of the organization’s strategic transition towards an international roster, a pivot that initially began with the departure of Wiktor “mynio” Kruk.

Nicoodoz joins the squad just in time for Phantom to intensify their practice ahead of Stake Ranked Episode 3, scheduled for July 15-18 in Barcelona. With Jakub “Kunai” Gieremek also recently benched, the team is expected to reveal their final fifth player in the coming days to complete the lineup.
