Neityu has officially joined FaZe on a permanent basis, marking the end of his time as a stand-in. The player discussed his transfer and the team’s preparations for the Esports World Cup 2026 Playoffs in a recent interview.
Neityu revealed that the contract negotiations took some time, but he felt like part of the team for months. He also mentioned that he felt no special pressure after the official announcement, as he was already comfortable with his teammates.
Looking ahead to the playoffs, Neityu believes that FaZe has a strong chance to reach the final and potentially win the tournament. He noted that the team will face top teams in the playoffs but finds their predictable playstyle comfortable to play against.
“We’re not afraid of the top teams and feel confident,” Neityu said.
FaZe’s first playoff match is scheduled against Vitality on August 20 at 16:55 Kyiv time.
