B1ad3 analyzed Natus Vincere‘s performance at the Cologne Major, highlighting their failure to close out a match against Team Falcons. Despite having opportunities, NAVI couldn’t secure the win, a moment B1ad3 noted the team had discussed internally.
“In Cologne, we certainly should have closed the match against Falcons. There was one moment we had already discussed as a team, but we didn’t execute it,” B1ad3 said.
B1ad3 explained that teams, including paiN, often change their playstyle under pressure when close to victory. He acknowledged that eliminating such issues entirely is nearly impossible, as it’s a natural reaction to stress. However, he believes this skill can be developed through experience.
“It’s a natural thing-this happens in stressful and decisive matches. But this skill can be developed by both the team and individual players,” B1ad3 added.
The coach emphasized the importance of confidence at the Tier-1 level, which he says comes from more matches and victories. Confidence, according to B1ad3, leads to better decision-making and more effective ideas. He also noted the highly competitive nature of the current CS2 scene, where any team can beat another.
“The more victories you have under your belt, the more confidence you gain. The more confidence you have, the better your decisions become,” B1ad3 concluded.
