MOUZ secured a spot in the Esports World Cup 2026 1/8 final after defeating pvision 2-0. Captain xertioN noted the team controlled the match throughout, though they felt some pressure late on Inferno after assuming an early lead.

The victory follows a post-match discussion after MOUZ lost to FUT in the starting rounds. xertioN emphasized the team’s focus on performance rather than expectations, stating they have strong chances against any opponent if they play at their best.

MOUZ will face GamerLegion in the 1/8 final on August 19 at 19:55 Kyiv time.

“We fully controlled the game the whole time. Inferno became a bit tight at the end only because we believed in victory too early,” xertioN said.

“We have no inflated expectations. Of course, there are teams still considered favorites against us. But I’m convinced: if we show our best game, we’ll have great chances against any opponent in the world,” xertioN added.
