Analyst Alex “Mauisnake” Ellenberg recently evaluated FUT and targeted sniper Nikita “cmtry” Samolotov during an episode of the Snake & Banter podcast.

Mauisnake argued that the player’s current performance with the AWP falls short of the standards required for an organization chasing major trophies.

“cmtry is just terrible. There was a time when it felt like his performances were fine when FUT were on the rise. But right now, it is completely unacceptable to have a guy who is this bad with the AWP when you are genuinely contending for trophies. You simply cannot contend for cups and keep him on your roster,” Mauisnake stated.

The analyst also noted that earlier performances by cmtry were acceptable during the squad’s development phase, but no longer fit their current goals.

Additionally, Mauisnake revealed that FUT previously had a chance to sign Spanish sniper Alvaro “SunPayus” Garcia, which could have transformed their international potential.
