karrigan addressed the constant community pressure calling for roster changes after every unsuccessful tournament for Team Falcons. The veteran captain stated that he has faced demands to retire during every career slump for about eight years.

“Throughout my career, as soon as my team fails to win trophies for a few tournaments, people immediately want to get rid of me. I think for about eight years now, people have been advising me to retire during every slump. But every time, I found a way out and won trophies again,” karrigan said.

He emphasized that he expected a longer grace period to work with the current roster because the team won a major just a few months ago.

“We won a major only a few months ago, so I expected a bit more leeway to work with this roster. If we do not show results in five months, then I probably will not be here anymore,” karrigan noted.
