JBOEN made a strong debut for FaZe Clan at the XSE Pro League in Guangzhou, China. Leading his team with a 1.35 rating, JBOEN expressed surprise at his performance, admitting he had expected to play worse.
“I’m proud of myself, honestly. I’m impressed that I’m already showing good performance, even though this is my first major tournament with a completely new team. I definitely didn’t expect to play this well. Honestly, I expected to play a bit worse-I thought I might show some average rating or something. But I exceeded my own expectations, and I’m just happy,” JBOEN said.
JBOEN also commented on the difference in skill level compared to his previous teams, noting that his new teammates frozen and Twistzz have significantly more experience and knowledge. The young player highlighted how even small details on the server differ from what he was used to.
“It’s completely different from what I’m used to. The level is just much higher, and even small details on the server are different from what I’m used to. Everything is generally different. The guys have so much experience. They know what to do and what not to do. So, I’m impressed by this different level,” he added.
FaZe Clan continues to compete in the group stage of the XSE Pro League, with JBOEN’s strong performance being a key factor in their campaign.
