HEROIC secured a clean sweep over K27 in the Stake Ranked 3 grand final, claiming a 3-0 victory (13-9 on Nuke, 13-11 on Mirage, 13-11 on Dust2). The win earned them a $25,000 prize and propelled them ten spots up to 27th in the VRS world ranking.
The Danish squad recently revamped their roster by signing Brollan and MartinezSa, replacing Yasin ‘xfl0ud’ Koç and Simon ‘yxngstxr’ Boye. Jonas ‘doto’ Forss also joined as head coach, transitioning from HEROIC’s academy team.
Despite the scoreline, the match was far from one-sided. K27, playing with stand-in shalfey instead of Timur ‘clax’ Sabirov, nearly forced overtime on Mirage after recovering from a 10-2 deficit. They also led 11-7 on Dust2 before HEROIC staged a comeback. nilo was the standout performer for HEROIC, averaging a 1.19 rating.
