Luminosity Gaming

Luminosity Gaming is a Canadian esports organization founded in 2015 that fields a Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) roster competing primarily in Europe. The team has a history marked by significant roster changes and notable achievements, including winning the MLG Columbus Major in 2016. Initially entering CS:GO with a lineup acquired from WinOut.net, Luminosity Gaming saw numerous player swaps throughout their early years, notably replacing their entire roster in July 2015 before signing ex-Keyd Stars players and nak as coach. This period culminated in the team's major victory at MLG Columbus in April 2016. Following this success, Luminosity Gaming continued to adjust its roster, parting ways with various players and coaches over the years. After a hiatus from competitive play in 2019, the organization returned to CS:GO in July 2026, acquiring Rainwaker from Monte and signing afro, AZUWU, Bymas, and lux. In August 2026, Luminosity Gaming further strengthened their roster by acquiring kakafu as coach and yxngstxr from HEROIC. The team currently fields a lineup consisting of lux (IGL/captain), afro, AZUWU, Bymas, Rainwaker, and is coached by kakafu.
