Luminosity Gaming

Luminosity Gaming is a Counter-Strike 2 organization from Canada, listed under the EU region, founded in 2015. The team competes in Counter-Strike 2 and has taken part in events including DraculaN Season 7, Tesla Cup 2026, Roman Imperium Cup VIII, Stake Ranked Episode 4, Logitech G Play Connect 2026, and the Esports World Cup 2026. The organization's roster has changed many times since its founding. Its early years saw frequent lineup turnover, including a 2016 acquisition of the WinOut.net lineup, with Apoka serving as coach. That year the team won the MLG Columbus Major, defeating NAVI 2-0 in the grand final. Later seasons brought further changes, such as the 2018 signings of HEN1 and LUCAS1 and the 2019 loan acquisition of felps from MIBR. The team's most recent entry into Counter-Strike 2 came in July 2026, when it acquired Rainwaker from Monte and signed afro, AZUWU, Bymas, and lux. Bymas was benched in August 2026 and released in October 2026. In August 2026, the team acquired yxngstxr from HEROIC and brought in kakafu from Monte as its new coach. The most recent roster changes therefore leave a lineup of lux, afro, AZUWU, Rainwaker, and yxngstxr, with kakafu as coach. lux serves as the in-game leader.
