LiquidEliGE - Jonathan Yablonovsky - is an American professional Counter-Strike 2 player. He currently plays for Team Liquid. EliGE is known for his accomplishments in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, where he was part of the Team Liquid roster that won the second Intel Grand Slam in 2019. EliGE's notable tournament titles include the Intel Grand Slam. In addition to his esports career, EliGE was named Carbondale's Scholar of the Year in 2015. His alias "EliGE" comes from the Spanish translation of the word "select," inspired by his favorite StarCraft II player, Ryoo "SeleCT" Kyung-hyun. He also served as a founding board member and vice chairman of the Counter-Strike Professional Players' Association. EliGE briefly played as a stand-in for Team Liquid's Overwatch team during the BTS Overwatch Cup, utilizing DPS heroes Genji and Reaper.
